Age Restrictions

In Ukraine the following rules apply for the minimum age and possession of a driver's licence:
21 years/2 years for vehicles in groups:
ECMN, ECMR, EDMR, CDMR, CDAR, IDMR, IVMR, SDAR, FDMR, CWMR, IWMR, SVMR, SFAR, SFMR
25 years for vehicles in groups:
PDAR, FVMR, LFAR, ITAR, XDAR, XLAR, XFAR, XSAR.

Conditions of Payment

We accept credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies - such as Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.

We do not accept any prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron).

American Express Credit Cards are not accepted.

Cash Payment is not accepted.

Two credit cards are necessary to hire the following car groups: SDAR, SFAR, SFMR, FVMR, SVMR, FDMR, PDAR, XDAR, XLAR, ITAR, XSAR, LFAR and XFAR.

Sixt CarExpress Servicecard is only accepted in combination with a valid Credit Card.

An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

General Insurance Conditions

Third Party Insurance (TI)

Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of EUR 2,500.- for material damages. Maximum cover for personal injuries is EUR 5,100.- per injured person per insured event.

Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

All rates include CDW.
The customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 500.- (ECMN, ECMNR, EDMR, CWMR, IVMR);
EUR 700.- (CDMR, CDAR, IWMR);
EUR 900.- (IDMR, SFAR, SFMR, SDAR, SVMR,FVMR);
EUR 1,000.- (FDMR, ITAR);
EUR 1,500.- (PDAR, LFAR);
EUR 4,000.- (XDAR, XLAR, XSAR, XFAR).

Top Cover CDW

If CDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Top Cover CDW to reduce the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.

If Top Cover CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 250.- (ECMN, ECMR, EDMR, CWMR, IVMR);
EUR 350.- (CDMR, CDAR, IWMR);
EUR 450.- (IDMR, SFAR, SFMR, SDAR, SVMR,FVMR);
EUR 500.- (FDMR, ITAR);
EUR 750.- (PDAR, LFAR);
EUR 2,000.- (XDAR, XLAR, XSAR, XFAR).

Super Top Cover CDW

If Top Cover CDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Super Top Cover CDW to eliminate the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.

If Top Cover CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:

EUR 0.- (ECMN, ECMR, EDMR, CWMR, IVMR, CDMR, CDAR, IWMR, IDMR, SFAR, SFMR, SDAR, SVMR, FVMR, FDMR, ITAR, PDAR, LFAR, XDAR, XLAR, XSAR, XFAR).

Theft Protection (TP)

All rates include TP.
The customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 500.- (ECMN, ECMR, EDMR, CWMR, IVMR);
EUR 700.- (CDMR, CDAR, IWMR);
EUR 900.- (IDMR, SFAR, SFMR, SDAR, SVMR, FVMR);
EUR 1,000.- (FDMR, ITAR);
EUR 1,500.- (PDAR, LFAR);
EUR 4,000.- (XDAR, XLAR, XSAR, XFAR).

Top Cover TP

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

By taking out personal accident insurance coverage can also be extended to cover the consequences of an accident.

By taking out PAI the limit of liability is:
EUR 3,150.- for invalidity,
EUR 3,150.- for decease,
EUR 3,150.- for medical costs.

Within city limits a Delivery/Collection Service charge of EUR 10.- applies.

Out Of Hours

An Out Of Hours surcharge of EUR 25.- occurs for bookings out of opening hours.

One-Way Rentals

National

All One-Way Rentals are on request. Please contact the local rental station.

International

International One-Way Rentals are not allowed.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions

Cross Border Rentals are not allowed.

Premium Location Fee

A Premium Location Fee of EUR 25.- occurs for rentals at airport and train stations.

Additional Driver

Refuelling Charge

All vehilces are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to Sixt, otherwise our current refuelling charges will apply.
